Terms of use
These terms apply when you use the TaraYatra app or the website at astroyatra.co.in (together, "TaraYatra"). TaraYatra is operated by [Registered company name], [Registered office address] ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using TaraYatra you agree to these terms.
1. Who can use TaraYatra
You must be 18 or older. You must give your real phone number and keep your login to yourself. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or that we reasonably believe is being used for fraud.
2. What TaraYatra is, and what it is not
TaraYatra offers astrology, tarot and numerology content, an AI reflection companion called Ask Tara, and paid consultations with independent guides. Readings are for reflection and guidance. They are not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and no outcome is guaranteed. Do not stop treatment or make major decisions based only on a reading.

3. Guides
Guides are independent practitioners, not our employees. We interview and KYC-verify every guide before they go live, but each guide is responsible for the advice they give. Guides set their own per-minute rates, which are shown before every session.
Guides must not ask you for money outside TaraYatra, sell you gemstones, pujas or remedies on credit, or ask for your contact details. Contact details typed into a chat are hidden automatically. Please report any guide who tries; use the report button in the app or write to care@astroyatra.co.in.
4. Wallet and payments
- You pay for consultations from a prepaid wallet. Top-ups are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card or UPI PIN.
- Wallet credit can only be spent on TaraYatra. It is not a bank account, earns no interest and cannot be transferred to another user.
- Bonus credit on larger packs and referral rewards are promotional. They can't be refunded or withdrawn.
- Per-minute sessions need enough balance for 5 minutes to start. They are billed in whole minutes, rounded up, using our server's clock. Sessions shorter than 30 seconds are free. A session ends automatically when your balance runs out.
- Booked sessions are paid at the time of booking.
- Prices include applicable taxes unless shown otherwise.

5. Tara Coins
Tara Coins are loyalty points. They have no cash value, can't be bought, sold or transferred, and may be changed or withdrawn with 30 days' notice in the app.
6. Ask Tara
Ask Tara is an AI system. Its replies can be wrong, and it does not predict the future or diagnose anything. Free use is limited to 30 messages a day. If a message suggests you may be at risk, Tara will show crisis helplines instead of a reply.
7. Things you must not do
- Harass, threaten or abuse a guide or another user.
- Share sexual content, or content involving anyone under 18.
- Try to move a consultation off TaraYatra, or pay or ask for payment outside the app.
- Use someone else's payment method, or reverse a payment for a session you received.
- Copy, scrape or reverse-engineer the app.
8. Your content
You own what you write. You let us store and process it only to run TaraYatra, keep users safe and meet legal duties. How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy policy.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
10. Changes and closing your account
We may update these terms. We will tell you in the app at least 7 days before a material change takes effect. You can delete your account at any time from Settings in the app.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please raise any complaint with our grievance officer first. Courts at [City of registered office] have jurisdiction, subject to your rights to approach a consumer commission.
